Spring is Coming!!

We have two big events coming up this spring. Our annual golf-a-thon will be Saturday, April 17, and we will be having an Open House and Ribbon Cutting at the Center on May 4.

Golf-a-Thon

The Golf-a-Thon is our spring fundraiser in which golfers get pledges for playing 100 holes of golf! Golfers are asked to pledge a dollar per hole for themselves and to find lots of other people to pledge as well - 10 cents, a quarter, a dollar or more per hole.

The event will be held at Bear Creek Golf Course in Chandler on April 17 from 6:30am to 1:30pm. Golfers will have five hours to play 100 balls (about 6 balls per hole). If you would like to golf and help us raise money for the Center, please contact Trinity Donovan at (480) 963-1423 or at Trinity@ChandlerFoodBank.org. Open House and Ribbon Cutting

A lot of new things are happening at the Chandler Christian Community Center, and we want to celebrate! Please "save the date" and plan on attending our Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, May 4, between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. There will be tours of the facilities, speakers, and refreshments. Come see our new signs and our updated meeting space and meet our new director, Trinity Donovan. We hope to see you there!

The Chandler Christian Community Center, a non-denominational, nonprofit organization, is the area's largest food bank. It is supported by the generous donations of the United Way, the City of Chandler, local churches, businesses, schools, civic groups and individuals.

After 44 years in the community, we are celebrating our new logo and introducing our new Executive Director, Trinity Donovan. Please join us for refreshments and a tour of our facilities on May 4, 2010, from 4:30-6:30 pm, with a Ribbon Cutting at 5 pm.
